It’s hard to find another, stronger inspiration
than color. It’s so easy in the mornings, sitting with a cup
of tea at my workbench, and remember why I got started in interior design in
the first place. I love to see colors working with patterns to create
that perfect image you’ve imagined in your head. Today it’s a sunroom by
the beach:
There’s a nice view from the second story as the
fan revolves slowly. In the corners are brightly colored green palms with
a slight yellow around at the edges—they almost sparkle in the sunlight.
The white wicker sofa is brightened as I stack these yellow chevron pillows.
I can change the focal point in the entire room with just color!
Sometimes it astounds me
how tranquility is easily obtained with the right color palate.
